Aerial Application Spray Deflectors

In addition to the standard boom and nozzle configuration chim-Nir has employed an upgraded boom and nozzle on which special winglets arranged at certain intervals project the spray curtain energetically downwards into the foliage. This arrangement, unique and patented by Chim-Nir company is achieving improved penetration of the spray droplets into the crop canopy. The advantage of this system has been tested in the field using the usual methods of spray recovery over targets to determine spray swathes, droplet spectra, spray height and distribution.
