Medical evacuation Airmed is both a specialty medical group and an independent air transport concern. Its mission is to provide total solutions in terms of support, advisory services, and medical air transport to those in need. Airmed's inter-disciplinary team of experienced flight surgeons includes, general surgeons, anesthesiologists, obstetricians and specialists in general, pediatric and neonatal intensive care. All are certified in their specific field of operation and most are reserve medical officers in the Israeli Air Force airborne rescue and medical evacuation unit.
A fully trained paramedic/flight nurse, professional administrative personnel, and superior emergency medical equipment back up every Airmed flight surgeon.
